IGNOU Bachelor’s Preparatory Program 2021 Admission

The degree obtained from the IGNOU will be considered as effective as a degree from any other University. This University offers a variety of courses in the graduate and the post graduate levels. Arts, humanities, social studies, allied sciences, pharmacy, medicine, commerce, management, business administration, hospitality, education, language, tourism, technology and sciences are some of the courses the University offers. The admissions for the Bachelor’s Preparatory Exam have been announced and the students who wish to get admitted into this program must apply for the program online. The students who wish to follow this program must apply for admission in the July or the January sessions of the year. This program is one of the most important programs offered by the IGNOU for students who wish to complete their graduation.

About IGNOU BPP Course

This program has been designed for those individuals who wish to study and complete their graduation or possess a Bachelor’s degree but have not completed their 10+2 level or passed out their Higher Secondary exams. The student must be at least 18 years of age on or before the month of April and October of the desired year. Individuals who don’t have a 12th pass certificate cannot continue studies for graduation because it is the chief criteria and this way these individuals are missing out on the opportunity for higher education. This program helps the students to pursue higher education through the help of this Bachelor’s Preparatory Program. When the student after enrolling in the BPP successfully completes it, they are eligible to apply for the Bachelor’s course in the IGNOU. The minimum duration for a student to complete the BPP is 6 months but it can be extended for duration of 2 years.

IGNOU BPP Admission Process

The candidates can apply for the BPP program in the month of January and July of every year. The candidates will be able to apply for the admission to the BPP through an online process. 

The medium of instructions to cover the BPP at IGNOU are in : English, Hindi, Oriya, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam, Gujarati medium. The students can select language of their choice from the website of the University.

IGNOU BPP Eligibility Criteria

There are no eligibility criteria for the admission in the Bachelor’s Preparatory Program. However the candidate must be 18 years of age. There is no maximum age limit for taking part in this program. 

The student will have to apply for the admission of this program online by filling up an application form of the BPP and depositing a fee of rupees 1000. The Regional center of the candidate should be informed before admission to the BPP program because the latest fee of the BPP exam may vary with the fee given in this article. The admission procedure can be done by logging into the official working site of the IGNOU which is the ignou.ac.in. The application forms of the admission procedure should be filled online. The offline method is no more available in the admission procedure as it was earlier.

The IGNOU has introduced a new system in the admission section of the university that is the online admission of the candidate which will be done by logging into the website of the University. The candidates can also download the prospectus and the handbook from the website which will them in return to know about the course they are applying for. The candidates have to register themselves at the admission portal of the University to register themselves for the admissions. The candidates who choose the online procedure of admission should upload the photographs, documents and signature of the candidate on the portal.

IGNOU BPP Study Material

The study materials related to the IGNOU BPP will be posted by the University to the student’s postal address via registered post. The address of the student has to be mentioned in the application form to which the study material will be sent from the University.

The study materials sent from the IGNOU will be related to the course being attended by the candidate and the books related to each course will be sent or dispatched in one parcel. Incase if the student does not receive the study materials in his/her mentioned address then the University will not be held responsible for it. It will be the student’s responsibility to obtain the study materials in such cases.

The study materials can also be downloaded online. The soft copy of the books of the BPP course can be downloaded from the online mode or the website egyankosh.ac.in 

IGNOU BPP Assignment

The students can download the soft copy of the BPP assignments from the website of the University www.ignou.ac.in . The assignments should be downloaded and the completed in papers and submitted to the center associated.
