IGNOU B.Ed 2024 Admission – Entrance Exam, Eligibility Criteria, Application Form: The Indira Gandhi National Open University was established in the year 1985 and the name of this University was named after a former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. This University provides IGNOU B.Ed Admission distance education to students who cannot attend a regular University. It is claimed to be one of the largest Universities in the world. The head quarters of IGNOU is established in New Delhi, India.

The University offers a host of courses ranging from arts, humanities, education, social sciences, commerce, medicine and pharmacy, management and business management, computer applications, architecture, allied sciences, technology, law and sciences. IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Application Form 2024

The IGNOU invites application forms from aspirants of the B.Ed learning fraternity. The B.Ed aspirants can get admissions to the B.Ed program in the IGNOU on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test. The students will be able to bag IGNOU B.Ed Admission in different institutions of the University on the basis of the marks they have secured in the entrance test. The medium of language of the IGNOU will be either English or Hindi. The IGNOU B.Ed Admission of the candidate will solely depend upon the marks which are obtained by the students in the entrance examination of the IGNOU which is conducted all over India. The attested copy of the candidate’s documents along with a passport sized photograph of the candidate must be submitted to the IGNOU office. After receiving the offer letter of the IGNOU B.Ed 2024 the students will have to submit their original documents. Once the form has been submitted it shall not be changed. If there are any changes to be made then the regional center of IGNOU shall be contacted by the candidate.

IGNOU B.Ed Admission Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate having a minimum of 50% marks in the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree of the science/commerce/arts can apply
• The applicant having a B.Tech or B.E degree should have a score of at least 55 % marks with specialization in science and mathematics.

The applicants who are interested in the open distance learning of the IGNOU B.Ed program must have the following eligibility

• Teachers who are trained in elementary teaching can opt for distance learning
• Applicants who have completed  a regular NCTE program

IGNOU B.Ed Admission Fee Structure

To get admission in the IGNOU B.ED program the student needs to first appear the common entrance test and the percentage and marks scored by the candidate will determine the IGNOU B.Ed Admission of the candidate in the IGNOU B.ED program. The candidates qualifying in the entrance test will have to get their documents verified first. They will have to prove their eligibility to apply for the course and also the identity of the candidate.

All documents of eligibility, identity and academic documents will be verified and then processed for IGNOU B.Ed Admission . The fee of the B.ED program of the IGNOU will be 50,000 rupees. The applicant will have to pay the sum of 50,000 rupees on the time of admission and the admit card of the entrance exam which is signed by the exam invigilator. IGNOU B.Ed Exam Pattern

The question paper pattern of the IGNOU B.ED program has been listed below for the students.

• The IGNOU B.ED examination paper consists of two parts. Part A and Part B. there will be only two major parts in the question paper
• There will be multiple choice type questions. For every question there will be 4 answers. The student will have to choose one correct answer to one question
• Total marks of the two major parts, A and B will be 100. There will be a total of 100 questions in all
• Each question will carry 1 mark
• The medium of the paper will either be English or Hindi
• The time duration of the paper will be 2 hours

The results can be obtained by the candidates from the official website of the IGNOU. The result can be obtained by typing in the enrollment number of the candidate. The results card will also be dispatched to students indicating the qualifying and the non-qualifying position of the IGNOU B.Ed Admission candidate in the entrance test. If the candidate does not receive a result card then he/she can contact the regional director’s office of his/ her region.
