WBCS 2023 Educational Qualification Required

Eligibility for WBCS post – Candidates must have done graduation in any stream. Engineering, BCA, BBA and other candidates having any bachelor degree can apply for the post. For Group B or Police Service (WBPS) candidates must possess the required physical standards/measurements.

WBCS Officer Salary Structure

Recruited W.B.C.S Officers Group A and Group B will be paid in the pay scale of Rs 15,600 – 42,000 with grade pay of Rs 5,400. H.r.a, D.a and other allowances will also be included in their monthly salary. Consolidated or gross basic scale during the joining time becomes Rs 21,000 excluding other allowances. They are paid in the Pay Band 4A or PB-4A of the West Bengal govt.

WBCS 2023 Age Limit for Group A, B, C & D

The age limit has been set by West Bengal Public Service Commission for various group of posts recruited through WBCS Executive Examination in the following fashion –

Age will be calculated on 1^st January of the year of Exam. Relaxation in upper age limit will be given to the SC ST OBC Physically Handicapped (PH) Ex-serviceman Govt Employees (Central and States) candidates. Please download the notification add to see category wise age restriction.

Exam Fee

Examination Fee can be submitted either through online or by offline method. In the offline method, challan has to be generated within the last date of application form fill up.

Application form is to be filled up online by logging in to the official website which is www.pscwbonline.gov.in. If you are applying for the first time, you need to register with the recruiter.
