UPSC IES SELECTION PROCESS 2024:
The candidates have to pass some stages of selection procedures for the post. Commission will prepare a category wise merit list from the marks obtained in the selection tests.
- Phase I – Preliminary Test
- Phase II – Mains Examination
- Phase III – Personality Test
- Phase IV – Medical Test
- Phase V – Final Merit List
UPSC IES EXAM PATTERN:
The Phase I is the first stage of the selection. On the other hand we can name the stage eliminate stage of selection. Most of the candidate disqualified in this stage. Phase-I is Objective type Papers. The preliminary test has two papers with total 500 marks. Only phase I passed candidates are eligible for phase II its means Mains Examination. Phase II has also two papers with 300 marks each. After qualifying Phase I and II the candidates are eligible for next rounds. After all phases eligible candidates are selected for recruitment post.
