UPSC IES Result 2024 Merit List Expected Date, Cut Off Marks: The results of Engineering Services Examination 2022, conducted by UPSC will be announced after the commencement of the stated examination. As per notification no. 01/2024-ENGG, dated: 27.09.18, for approximately 588 nos. (Including 18 PH) of UPSC IES Cut Off Marks vacancies in Engineering Services, applications has been invited by UPSC from eligible candidates either having a degree in Engineering or M.Sc with specialisation in Physics & Radio Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication. The tentative date declared by the commission for the UPSC IES Preliminary or Stage-1 examination is 07th of January 2024. So the results of the examination is expected to be out soon after the examination.

Preparation of UPSC IES Result 2024:

Merit list of the IES examination conducted by UPSC will be made on the basis of both Objective types tests (OMR based) in Stage-1 or Preliminary Examination and Conventional type tests in Stage-2. The candidates successfully getting through the cut off marks set by UPSC will be for the IES Preliminary or Stage-1 examination will be informed through our website www.jobsandhan.com. Then they require to indicate their preferences UPSC IES Cut Off Marks 2024 for services or posts in the detailed application forms from the UPSC website. These successful candidates will have to sit for Stage-2 or the Main Examination. The number of candidates to be admitted to the Main Examination will be about 6/7 times the total approx number of vacancies in 2024 UPSC IES examination. UPSC ESE Merit List 2022 Mains Exam:

After the Main Examination, another Merit list will be prepared by UPSC based on the total marks obtained by the candidates in Preliminary and Main Examinations. Strictly on the basis of the Merit list of UPSC IES examinations, successful candidates will be called for the interview or Personality Test. It is the final stage or UPSC IES Cut Off Marks 2024 stage 3. The UPSC IES Result 2024 for Main Examination too will be announced soon after the commission’s declaration.

The number of candidates to be called for Personality Test will be about twice the number of total vacancies to be filled by UPSC based on the UPSC IES Result (Prelims & Mains).

Then the total score obtained in Stage-1, Stage-2 and Stage-3 of UPSC IES examination result will determine the applicant’s ranking. Therefore a medical test will be conducted by the commission and the final result will be announced.
