UBKV Admission 2024-25 for UG Courses: Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya invites applicants for the admission in 4 years UG courses in B.SC Hons Agriculture and B.SC Hons Horticulture and in 2 years PG Courses in M.SC Agriculture, M.SC Horticulture, M.SC Forestry in its Main Campuses Pundibari, Cooch Behar and College of Agriculture at Majhian, Dakshin Dinajpur for the new academic session 2024-25. The University is soon going to release official notification for the same. Candidatures who want to take Admission in the University for various UG and PG courses have to fill the Online Application Form that will be released by the UBKV 2024. Candidates must satisfy the Eligibility Criteria as per the UBKV rules to able to apply for the Courses.

Latest Update on 23/04/2024 – BCKV UG Admission form fill up for 2024-25 session starts from 12th June 2024 and will continue upto 2nd July 2024. Students can apply online for the B.Sc Agriculture course on the official website of Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya @ www.admissionubkv.in.

Here is the official notice regarding the Admission Schedule of UBKV B.Sc Agriculture & B.Sc Horticulture Courses:

The application form will be released online by the University on its official website. Candidates need to fill only application form for PG courses and they will be able to apply for more than one subjects /modules but in that case Candidates need to pay the application fee for each subject choices they have made. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their Merit and according to the rank of the candidates in the Merit list candidates will be called for the counseling round. Candidates who will be qualified in more than one subject they can make their choices subjects during the Counseling procedure.

UBKV PhD Seat Capacity:

Eligibility Criteria for UBKV Admission in UG Course 2024

1. Candidates must be a permanent resident of the State West Bengal. ICAR candidates, Kashmiri Migrant and Foreign students will be excluded and will be able to apply.
2. The minimum age of the applicants must be 16 years or above as on 1^st Just June of the year of UBKV Admission 2024
3. Candidates must have qualified 10+2 or equivalent with Physics , Chemistry and Biology/ Agriculture/ Horticulture as the must read subjects with minimum 60% marks in average for the General and OBC Category candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PWD/HILL QUOTA candidates.
4. Candidates who have qualified West Bengal Stream of WBCTVESD are also eligible to apply.

Important Points Related to UBKV Admission 2024

1. Candidates need to visit the official website www.ubkv.ac.in to get all the official notification and updates.
2. The application fee for the General and OBC category candidates is 1,000/- Rs, and the application fee for SC/ST candidates is 250/- Rs for each subject/module. 
3. The mode of the payment of the application fee is Online. 
4. The candidates belong to PWD with 40% disability will be exempted from paying the application fee. 
5. The application fee for each subject has to be deposited individually. 
6. No application will be accepted without the application fee. 
7. It is important to note that candidates belong to the SC/ST/OBC category outside of the West Bengal will be considered as the General Category candidates.

How to Fill up UBKV Online Application Form at ubkv.ac.in?

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website www.admissionubkv.in.

Step 2: If you are not registered, then you need to Click on “Create Account“.

Step 3: Enter all the details like Name, Email address, Aadhar Number, User etc and click on “Next” Button.

Step 4: Enter your Phone Number and Click on “Verify” button.

Step 5: After that, click on “Submit” Button.

Step 6: The Registration for the Application form will be activated through the Email ID.

Step 7: After that Log In to the account again with Your Mobile Number or Email ID & Password.

Step 8: Fill the application form with all the asked details carefully and upload all the required documents’ Scanned copy.

Step 9: Pay the prescribed application fee.

Step 10: Lastly click on the SUBMIT button and print the application form.

After the submission of the application form the seat allotment list will be released by the official authority. Candidates will be allotted seats according to their merits and their preferred choices of subjects.

Candidates must upload self attested scanned copies of following documents during UBKV Admission form fill up along with Signature & Photograph –

• Both side mark sheet of Madhyamik (10) examination
• Both side mark sheet of Higher Secondary (10+2) examination
• Caste certificate in prescribed format.
