Details of the post:
- Junior Translator in Central Secretariat, armed forces, railways and other subordinate offices.
- Hindi Pradhyapak in CHTI,
- Senior Hindi Translator in various ministries of government.
Vacancy:
Number if vacancy has not been mentioned by SSC. As per them the figure of vacant seats will be disclosed on due course of recruitment procedure.
Important Dates of Recruitment:
Part I registration last date – 28-04-2024.
Last date for part II registration – 30-04-2024.
Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for post no 1 – Masters’ degree in Hindi with English as optional subject or other relevant degree. Work experience of 2 years in the field of translation otherwise Certificate or diploma in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa are must.
Post no 2 – Bachelors’ Degree in any subject and master’s degree in Hindi with English as one subject.
Post no 3 – Masters’ degree in Hindi and professional experience of 3 years in Translation work otherwise Diploma or certificate in Hindi to English and vice versa translation.
Salary Structure:
All the recruited translators will get payment on same pay scale of Rs 9,300 – 34,800. Grade pay will be Rs 4200, 4800 and 4600 for post no 1,2 and 3 respectively.
Age Limit:
SSC has restricted the upper age limit as 30 years. Of course the age relaxation will be provided.
Selection Process of JHT:
Written exam will be conducted by SSC on 19-06-2024. Syllabus and exam pattern has been given on Commission’s website.
Examination Fee:
General Candidates – Rs 100.
SC ST, Female Candidates are exempted to pay any fee.
How to Apply:
Candidates have to register on their official website two times. Once the first step is complete, the candidates will be redirected to second step where he or she need to give the payment details followed by uploading of photo and signature.
