The department has decided to recruit for the post of Krishi Prayukti Sahayak. Written Exam pattern:

The test will include two papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II.
Paper I will consist of 120 question each carrying 1 marks. The questions will be objective type or Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). Candidates have to answer the question on OMR sheet. There will be negative marking also. If a candidates wrongly marks 4 question then, 1 mark will be deducted.
Paper II will carry 30 marks. It will comprise of 1 single question where they have to write English Precis. So, obviously the exam will be descriptive type.

Interview:

The candidates who will clear the cut off marks or qualifying marks for WB KPS exam 2023, will be called for interview in front of WBSSC board.
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in both the written and interview exam. So, marks will be summed for both the exam and the first 818 candidates who will secure top ranks, will be given joining letter.

Syllabus of KPS Written Exam Paper I:

Here is the exam pattern given below –
English (40 marks) – Grammar, English Comprehension, Corrections in sentences, Antonyms and Synonym, Spelling, Idioms.
General Knowledge or awareness (40 marks) – Current Affairs (National or International), Know your State, Art & Culture, Civics, Sports, Abbreviations, Computer knowledge.
Mathematics & Reasoning (40 marks) – Math and other reasoning questions will come from Madhyamik or 10^th KPS Syllabus 2023 like – Time & Distance / Time & Work, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry and others.

Precis Writing in English – 30 marks (1 question).
