Jharkhand Polytechnic Counselling 2024 PECE Jharkhand: Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination or PECE is a state-level exam which is organized by the JCECE board, for admission into colleges across Jharkhand offering several courses of polytechnic. About Jharkhand Polytechnic 2024 Counseling
The merit list which will soon be announced by the authorities will be based on the mars obtained by the candidates in PECE. Counseling process will be conducted online, which is referred as the computerized multi station parallel counseling. The candidates shortlisted through the merit list can only Jharkhand Polytechnic Counselling appear for the counseling process. Students appearing for the counseling process have to submit a counseling fee, prior to the counseling. The fee structure is given below –
- General and OBC – INR 400/-
- SC, ST and female candidates – INR 250/-
The counseling fee can be paid through Bank Challan, Post Office Challan & Indian Postal Order, only. It should be noted that the amount paid for counseling is non-refundable. Candidates are requested to keep a copy of the Challan.

What is the process of Jharkhand Polytechnic Counselling 2024?
| Step 1 | The counseling process will be conducted through the online mode, only. Candidates must prepare accordingly. |
| Step 2 | The seat matrix will be intimated on the website itself. However it can also be viewed in the counseling centre. |
| Step 3 | Candidates can fill the preference of college as per ranks secured by them. |
| Step 4 | Prior to counseling, candidates have to get the required documents verified. |
| Step 5 | Seats will be allotted on the basis of the rank and preference of each individual. It will also be determined on the basis of the vacancy available in colleges and also the category that the candidate belongs to. |
| Step 6 | At the time of counseling the candidates will have to pay the seat allotment fee which is mentioned by the authority. |
| Step 7 | The requisite fee has to be paid in favor of “Controller of Examination, JCECEB” payable at Ranchi via demand draft. |
| Step 8 | The candidates will have to report to the colleges that have been allotted to them. This will indicate, confirmation of admission. Such confirmation has to be provided within the mentioned duration. |
| Step 9 | Candidates will have to carry the original documents along with the self attested photocopy of the required documents at the time of counseling. |
