Scientist / Engineer SC 375 posts – Electronics, Mechanical & Computer Science Engineering Vacancy in ISRO 2024
Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has released ISRO Scientist/ Engineer SC Recruitment notification advertisement for Engineer / Scientist (‘SC’) post in 2024. Mechanical Electronics & Computer Science Engineering candidates can apply for the post. Vacancy will be filled up for 375 posts. Eligibility criteria and other details has been given below.

Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for Scientist / Engineer SC – Candidates must have done graduation degree in engineering that is B.tech/ B.E in Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science Engineering or similar. They must have obtained 1st class in their graduation course with 65% marks or 6.84 in CGPA scale. AMIE candidates can also apply for the post. Final year students / appearing candidates can also apply for the post but they have to get the passing certificate within 31-08-2024.

Salary Structure:
The staffs will be paid in the pay scale of Rs 15,600 – 39,100 with grade pay of Rs 5,400. This is pay band 3 or PB3 decided by central govt. The recruited Scientists (“SC”) will be entitled to other allowances which will be included in their monthly salary. The gross monthly salary will be around Rs 45,990. Please note that this is only approximate calculation.
Age Limit:
Upper Limit = 35 years.
Age will be calculated as on 25-05-2016. Relaxation will be provided for reserved category candidates.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern:
Written test will be conducted followed by interview process.
Exam Fee:
Rs 100 is application fee which is applicable to General Candidates only.
SC ST Candidates need not to pay any exam fee.
How to Apply:
Detailed instruction has been given in their official website. Those who are working in PSU or any govt institution must submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer within 7 days of filling up the application form. General candidates have to submit their ISRO copy of bank challan to the office address of ISRO (Bengaluru) before the last date without which their application will be rejected.
