CG TET 2025 will consist of two paper viz. Paper I and Paper II. The exam syllabus for the two papers are quite vast and candidates need to know the knowledge before writing the exam. The pattern and scheme / structure of the CG TET Written Exam is given below. We have also provided the recruitment steps or selection procedure of the CG primary teachers for both lower primary and upper primary level. Chhattisgarh  Primary Teacher Recruitment Process through TET

Primary Teacher in Chhattisgarh will be recruited on the basis of TET merit list only. Candidates have to appear in the Teachers Eligibility Test which is a written exam and conducted every year by CG VYAPAM. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in the written test. The merit list will be valid for 1 year (or more). Later CG Vyapam will make announcement about the Primary Teacher Recruitment in Govt Schools. At that time candidates will have to apply for the post mentioning their respective ranks in merit list. They will be recruited as per the merit list by the recruiter.

CG Vyapam TET Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates can apply for both the lower primary and upper primary post. For lower primary candidates will have to appear in paper I and for upper primary paper II. Those who have applied for both the level, will be required to appear in both the paper.

• Paper I and Paper II both the paper will be of 150 marks each. Objective questions or MCQs will be asked in both papers.
• Duration of the exam is 2.30 hours. In the first half the paper I will be held and on the second half of the same date second paper will be held.
• Negative marking will be there for each wrong answer.

The syllabus will be different for upper and lower primary level teachers. They are discussed as below –

CG TET Paper I Syllabus (for Class I to V)

Paper 1 will consist of following subjects –

• Child Development & Pedagogy – 30 marks,
• Language 1 (Hindi) – 30 marks,
• Language 2 (English) – 30 marks,
• Mathematics – 30 marks,
• Environmental Education – 30 marks.

Full marks for the paper I is 150. All the questions are compulsory.

CG TET Paper II Syllabus (for Class VI – VIII)

For the upper primary teachers in Junior High Schools candidates must qualify the paper II. The scheme of the paper II of the CG TET is as follows –

• Child Development & pedagogy – 30 marks,
• Language I (Hindi) – 30 marks,
• Language II (English) – 30 marks,
• Math & Science (for science teachers) or Social Science (for all social science/arts subject teachers) – 60 marks.

You can see from the 4^th point that candidates who are applying for the science teacher vacancy will have to choose Math & Science and arts teachers have to choose social science.
