Required Educational Qualifications for the post
For Engineering Disciplines
Candidates must be B.E. / B.Tech/ B.SC (Engineering) / 5 years Integrated M.Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in one of the engineering field.
Candidates to be considered on the basis of a GATE score must have a valid GATE 2017- 2024 sore in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree.
For other disciplines
Candidates must have M.SC in relevant discipline or B.E. / B.Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.

Salary structure
Level 10- Rs 56,100 of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix.
Approximately Rs 84,000 per month approximately.
Age limits
- 1. General category – 26 years
- 2. OBC – 29 years
- 3. SC/ ST – 31 years
- 4. Dependents of those who died in the riots of 1984 – 31 years
- 5. Persons domiciled in Kashmir Division of Jammu & Kashmir State from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 – 31 years
- 6. Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for physically handicapped candidates of all categories.
Examination Fee
- General and OBC – Rs 500.
- Women candidates, SC/ ST , Dependents of Defence Personnel killed in action and physically challenged candidates.
Selection Process
Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Online Examination, GATE score card and Interview.
