The Apprentice will be selected for the trades like- Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Welder (Gas & Electronics), Motor Vehicle Body Builder, Electrician, Wireman, Carpenter, Mechanic (Instrument, Electronics, Power Electronics, Machine tool maintenance, Motor vehicle, Diesel, Refrigeration and Air conditioner), Pipe fitter, Programming System Admin Asst. Winder Armature, Draughtsman, Painter and Upholsterer etc.

RRC WR Apprentice Cut Off Marks 2023 Mumbai RRC

It has already been declared in the advertisement issued by Western Railway that for engaging Apprentice for training purpose in Mumbai Central Railways, no online or offline test or interview will be conducted but it will be decided on the basis of the marks acquired by the candidates in the Matriculation or 10th grade examination and ITI (respective trades).

The marks acquired by the candidates in the finals of both the examination will be added while preparing the Western Railway Apprentice Result. The minimum marks obtained by the candidates in the Matriculation examination should be 50% to apply for the Apprenticeship training else the application will summarily get rejected. In case of a tie between candidates, then it will get resolved by the date of birth of the candidates. The older candidate will be selected over the younger one. So the date of birth of those candidates will act as the tie-breaker.

The final Western Railway Apprentice Merit List of Mumbai Central Western Railway for the engagement of Apprentice in various trades as mentioned above will be published according to the basis of merit, trade and community. Strictly in accordance to the Western Railway Apprentice Recruitment Results 2023, the selected candidates will be called for the document verification where the candidates are required to be present with valid original documents and the candidates successfully going through this screening process must undergo the Medical Examination so that it can be decided if the candidates are fit enough to take the training.

The candidates will be offered stipend during their Trainee Apprenticeship period. The Apprentice on the completion of their training successfully, might or might not be get an employment in the Western Railway. The training authority is not liable for providing with an employment.
