Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools. WB SSC High School Teacher Salary scale of the High School Teachers are decided by the State Government as per the existing rules. Recently, West Bengal Govt has updated the Pay Scale for the Assistant Teachers as per 6th Pay Commission New Rules (ROPA 2019). Graduate Teacher Salary (Class 9, 10) in West Bengal

GPF Deduction for WB High School Teachers
General Provident Fund or GPF will also be deducted from the in hand salary shown in the table for both the Class IX, X & Class XI, XII teachers.
Minimum Rate of GPF that will be deducted is 6%.
Maximum is upto your choice.
After 1st Year of service, GPF will be deducted from your salary.

From the above matrix, you can calculate the New Pay level of Assistant teachers in Secondary & Higher Secondary Schools.
Earlier, the pay scale for the Graduate Teachers as per old Pay Commission was Rs. 7100-37600 with grade pay 4,100. Corresponding to this pay scale, the teachers will now be entitled to Pay Level 11 of the New Pay Matrix i.e Rs. 33,400.
For the Post Graduate teachers, the old pay scale was Rs. 9,000 – 40,500 with grade pay Rs. 4,700. This pay scale is equivalent to the Pay Level 15 of the new ROPA pay matrix i.e Rs. 42,600.
