Eligibility Criteria for Meritorious Sportsperson

WB Motor vehicle inspector recruitment age limit & upper age relaxation

• Lower Limit = 18 Years.
• Upper Limit = 39 Years.
• Candidates should be minimum 18 years and maximum 39 years as on 01.01.2025.

Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC / ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (A and B) category candidates of West Bengal. No relaxation will be given for SC ST candidates of other states.

WBPSC Motor vehicle inspector non technical Application fee

• General candidates – Rs 160
• SC / ST candidates of West Bengal and PWD candidates having more than 40% physical disabilities – Nil.

Other states candidates and OBC category applicants have to submit the fee of 160 Rs.

WBPSC MVI Recruitment Process for Non Tech Posts

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of screening test / written test and personal interview.

• Part 1 – Written Exam,
• Part 2 – Personality Test.

Final Merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained after combining Part 1 & Part 2 Marks. Candidates must clear the respective category wise cut off marks in the written test to qualify for Personality Test round.

West Bengal Motor Vehicle Inspector Selection Process 2025

PSCWBOnline.gov.in released notification number –/– for selection of candidates in Motor Vehicle Inspector (technical) posts. There they have stated that the exam will consist of Screening Test / Written Test and interview / personality test / viva voce.

WB MVI Exam Pattern 2025 (Technical)

West Bengal PSC may conduct the exam in an offline method. If the exam is paper/pen based, then candidates have to answer it on OMR sheet. The type of the questions is expected to be in WBPSC MVI Recruitment Multiple Choice Questions or MCQ Objective format. The Question Paper will contain questions from Technical & Non-Technical Part.
