The candidates who will be listed in the WBJEE Seat Allotment Result will be eligible for Counseling. Applicants will be allotted a seat depending on the merit and score secured by the candidate in the WBJEE 2024 / JEE Main 2024. WBJEE Seat Allotment 1st Round Result

• All the candidates who have scored the required qualifying marks will be shortlisted for the first round of seat allotment. The seat allotment WBJEE Seat Allotment Result will have the names of the eligible candidates. The name of the institutions which have been allotted to each individual will be written against their names.
• The shortlisted candidates will have to report to their respective Reporting centers. The candidates will be granted a provisional admission.
• Candidates, who fail to report to the Reporting Center within the specified duration, will no longer be considered eligible for the seat allotted. Such seat will show vacant and will again be contested for in the second round.

WBJEE 2024 Round Seat Allotment

• We are pleased to inform that the candidates will not have to start afresh with their registration and choice filling procedures, before contesting in the second round of seat allotment.
• Candidates who weren’t shortlisted for the 1st round of seat allotment will be considered in the second round, if there is still a vacancy. (Group I)
• Candidates who had been shortlisted for the 1st round but failed to prove themselves eligible at the Reporting center, can also contest in the second round. (Group II)
• Candidates who had applied for up-gradation in the subsequent rounds of counseling, thereby completing all the formalities for admission will also be considered eligible for the second round of seat allotment. (Group III)
• The candidates who have successfully completed all the formalities for admission, but have not applied for up-gradation, will either be able to claim the allotted seats form the same category or from the upgraded category. However, they will be eligible to contest in the second round. (Group IV)

• The candidates who belong to Group I and II will have to report to their respective centers within the specified duration, fail of which will lead to cancellation of admission and the candidate will be barred from participating in the subsequent rounds.
• Candidates who have opted for upgradation should be aware that they can only choose to upgrade into a higher preferred choice. However if the candidate later decides to stay with the current allotment and wishes to decline the upgaradtion, he can do so by simply reporting to the current reporting center.
• Candidates of Group IV whose previously allotted seat still remains unchanged will not have to report to the center.
