West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2024 WBJEE Application Form www.wbjeeb.nic.in
WBJEE 2024 Application Form has been released. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Application Form can be filled up online from 19-12-2024 to 19-01-2024 on the official website of www.wbjeeb.nic.in. Written Test will be conducted on 22nd April 2024. Offline examination will be carried out in in two stages for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Earlier information brochure was released on 20th November 2024. Detailed information regarding eligibility criteria, application form filing up procedure have been given in the information bulletin in English and Bengali both languages. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination application form should be filled up before the last date of application which is 19th January 2024.
Educational Qualification Requirement:
For Engineering Admission (Paper 1 & 2 both)
10+2 with Physics & Mathematics both along with any one of Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science or Computer Application as compulsory subjects.
Candidates should have acquired pass marks in all the 3 subjects
Marks Requirement –
- Unreserved Category – 45 % (aggregate in 3 subjects)
- Reserved Category – 40%
- English – 30% (Class 12th Exam)
For Pharmacy Admission (Only Paper II)
10+2 with Physics & Chemistry both along with any one of Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science or Computer Application as compulsory subjects.
Candidates should have acquired pass marks in all the 3 subjects
Marks Requirement –
- Unreserved Category – 45 % (aggregate in 3 subjects)
- Reserved Category – 40%
- English – 30% (Class 12th Exam)
WB JEE Age Limit:
- Lower Limit – 17 Years as on December 31, 2024
- Upper Limit – No (For marine engineering 25 years).
WBJEE 2024 Exam Pattern:
There are two papers in the West Bengal JEE Exam which are –
- Paper-I – Mathematics
- Paper-II – Physics & Chemistry (combined).
Paper-I and Paper-II both is for admission in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy Courses in all colleges.
Paper-II for admission only in Pharmacy Courses (except in Jadavpur University).
WBJEE 2024 Important Dates:
- Starting of Online form fill-up – 19/12/2024
- Last date of online form fill-up – 19/01/2024
- Last date of Payment – 19/01/2024.
- Window for correction by candidates from 26/01/2024 to 28/01/2024
- Publication of Downloadable Admit Card – 10/04/2024 (tentative)
- Exam Date – 22/04/2024
- Publication of Results – 05/06/2024 (tentative)
WBJEE Exam Schedule 2024:
Exam will be conducted on 22.04.2024 (Sunday)
Timing of Paper I and Paper II
- Paper-I (Mathematics) will be held from – 11:00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m
- Paper-II (Physics & Chemistry) will be conducted from – 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
