WB Forest Guard Selection Process:

Following are the steps for recruitment of Forest Guards in Govt of West Bengal under WB Police Recruitment Board or WBPRB in 2024 –

1. Written Test – 80 marks
2. PST (qualifying)
3. PET (qualifying)
4. Personality Test/ Interview/ viva) – 10 marks

Written Test WB Forest Guard Syllabus:

General Awareness & GK – 30 marks

English – 20 marks

Elementary Mathematics (10th Level) – 30 marks

Reasoning – 10 marks

Above was the marks distribution and detailed WB Forest Guard Syllabus of the written test of forest guard exam 2024. MCQ Questions will be asked in the written exam. Each question will carry 1 mark. Candidates will be given OMR sheet to mark answer.

Is there any Negative Marking:

Negative marking will be there for the written test of Guards. Each wrong answer will deduct 1/4 marks.

Physical Standards Test (PST):

Those who will qualify in the written exam, will have to appear in the physical standard test or PST. Here, chest and height of each candidates will be measured whether they possess the minimum standard physical criteria or not. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

1. 25 KM walk within 4 hours – Male
2. 16 KM walk within 4 hours – Female

Physical Efficiency Test will be qualifying in nature, no marks will be slotted for qualifying the physical test.

Interview/ Viva/ Personality Test:

Candidates who will qualify the Physical Test (PST and PET) will be able to appear in Interview or personality test. The interview will be conducted by WB police recruitment board or WBPRB.
