How Visva Bharati Admission Merit List 2024 for Undergraduate (UG) Courses will be prepared?

Aggregate marks of best four subjects will be taken into account while preparing for the Visva Bharati Admission for various honours subjects for admission in the VBU. Also marks obtained in the subject in which the candidate is willing to take honours will also be given importance.

• Rule: Total Marks (500) = Four best subjects (4×100) + Marks in Honours Subject (100).

Visva Bharati Admission 2024 Merit List Preparation – Detailed Process

The University conducts entrance test and interview for admission into some courses like (PG, MPhil, PHD Etc). For other courses (UG, Pre Degree) Visva Bharati University Merit List is prepared based on the Academic Marks.

Courses in which Entrance Test and Viva is conducted, following selection process and marking method is generally adopted –

• Process of Selection: Entrance test + Interview.
• Syllabus of test: 50% of research methodology and 50% shall be subject specific.
• Qualifying marks: 50 %.

How Visva Bharati Merit List will be prepared for MA MSc MCom?

Modalities for preparing UG Pre Merit List for UG Pre –

1. Percentage of aggregate marks secured in B.A. (Hons.) Examinations, out of 100.
2. Admission test qualifying marks shall be 30% for general candidates and 27% for OBC candidates (No qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates).

Visva Bharati BED Admission Merit List 2024

VBU Merit List will be prepared out of 30 marks as below –

1. Madhyamik or equivalent marks will be reduced to 10.
2. Higher Secondary or equivalent marks will be reduced to 10.
3. Honours or major subject marks will be reduced to 10.

No admission test or entrance test will be conducted.

The entrance test will be conducted for selection of candidates in the M.Ed course. Based on 100 marks Visva Bharati Merit List will be prepared as given below –
