UPSSSC Combined Junior Engineer Competitive Exam 2024 – Vacancy for 478 Diploma Engineers
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission or UPSSSC on their latest recruitment announcement has notified that Junior Engineer candidates will be inducted in various departments of Govt through Junior Engineer Competitive Exam 2024. Advertisement no 6(Exam)/ 2024 by UPSSSC has also mentioned UPSSSC Junior Engineer Recruitment that diploma engineers will be eligible to apply online for the post of Junior Engineer. Civil, Mechanical and Water / Irrigation (Electrical) engineers will be recruited in UPSSSC through competitive exam (general recruitment).

Number of total vacant seat is 478. Category wise vacancy break up list is given below –
General – 203 posts,
SC – 102 posts,
ST – 62 posts.
OBC – 111 posts.

Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for Civil Engineer – Candidates must have completed 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering.
For Water (Irrigation) Department Engineer – Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
For Mechanical Engineer – Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is the minimum eligibility criteria for applying to the post.
Salary Structure:
The recruited Junior Engineers will be paid in the pay scale of Rs Rs 9,300 – 34,800 with grade pay Rs 4,200. Other allowances will be included in their monthly salary.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 18 or 21 years depending on the post you are applying for.
Upper Limit = 40 years.
Age will be calculated as on 1-07-2024. Relaxation in age will be provided for the reserved candidates as per the govt norms.
Selection Process:
UPSSSC will conduct written exam followed by interview to recruit Junior Engineers in the above mentioned depts.
