Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has finally released recruitment notification advertisement for Civil Service Examination 2024. UPSC conducts this CSE exam every year to recruit candidates throughout India for various posts under Central Govt. Important Dates of Recruitment:
Starting of online application form fill up – 27-04-2024(for both part I and part II).
Last date for registration and fee payment – 27-05-2024.
Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for Civil Service Exam UPSC 2024 – Candidates who possess a degree (graduation/ post-graduation) are eligible to apply for the post. For detailed educational criteria please download the notification add from below link (PDF).
Salary Structure:
Pay scale for the IAS and other civil service officers is Grade A scale fixed by UPSC.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 21 years.
Upper Limit = 32 years.
Age relaxation will be provided for SC ST OBC Ex Serviceman candidates as per the govt rules.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern:
Preliminary Exam will be held which is the first step and will consist of objective type questions. Negative marking will be there for wrongly selected answers. Mains exam will be carries out for the successful candidates where they have to get cut off marks for further selection. Interview will be the last step of this selection method.
Exam Fee:
General Candidates – Rs 100.
SC ST Female candidates are exempted to pay any exam fee.
