Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL) through their recruitment advertisement notification no advt U-23/UPRVUSA/2023 has notified that assistant engineer trainee in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering will be recruited for this year 2023. UPRVUNL is a UP govt undertaking organization or PSU. But the main recruiting agency is U.P. Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Sewa Aayog or UPRVUSA. Assistant Engineer (AE) Trainee (E & M Cadre).

Mechanical – 25 posts.
Electrical – 20 posts.

Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for assistant engineer trainee – candidates must possess graduation degree (B.E / B.tech) in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Industrial/ Industrial & Production Engineering. This should done from a recognized institution and it must be a full time degree. Final year students can also apply for the posts.

Salary Structure:
The assistant engineer trainee will be paid in the pay scale of Rs 15,600 – 39,100 with grade pay of Rs 5,400. Besides this, the recruited engineers will be entitled to hra, da and other allowances time to time which will included in their monthly salary.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 21 Years.
Upper Limit = 40 years.
Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per the govt norms. But SC ST OBC PH candidates of other state (except UP) will be treated as General Category candidates.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern:
Written exam will be conducted in the first phase of selection. This will be a computer based test or CBT. Later the successful candidates have to go through interview. Syllabus of the written test can be found on the official website.
Exam Fee:
General Category and other states candidates – Rs 1000.
SC ST Candidates – Rs 700.
Physically Handicapped Candidates are exempted to pay any fee.
