On their latest govt job recruitment news, Tripura Police Dept has stated that Constable (Driver) post is going to be recruited in the state. Application is only being invited from male candidates. Female candidates are not eligible for the post. 47 posts are there. Category wise vacancy breakup has been given in below list –
General – 24 posts,
SC – 08 posts,
ST – 15 posts.
Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for Constable (Driver) – Those who are willing to apply for the post must be a Citizen of India and they should also possess following degree (category wise) –
General Candidates – Madhyamik or 10^th Exam.
SC ST candidates – VIII or 8^th pass.
Candidates should also possess required physical standards. The measurements which a male candidate must have, has been given on their official website.
Salary Structure:
Recruited Constables (grade III) will be paid in the pay scale of Rs 5,700 – 24,200 with grade pay of Rs 2,100. This is pay band II where staffs will be paid other allowances and it will be included in their monthly salary.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 18 Years.
Upper Limit = 25 years.
Age relaxation will be given for reserved category candidates. 5 years age relaxation will be provided for SC ST candidates. 2 years age relaxation will be given for those candidates who has completed their Graduation degree. Age will be calculated on 1^st January 2024.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern:
There will be physical efficiency test where candidates have to pass in several physical tests like run, long jump, high jump etc. Those who will clear the test will have to appear for Trade test (Driving Test) and written test / interview. Final selection will be based in the performance if both the Tripura Police Recruitment 2024 written test or viva-voce and trade test. Cut off or qualifying marks will be decided by the police dept who will be the main recruiting agency.
