Required educational qualification for the post
Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
Candidates should have passed bachelor degree in EEE / ECE / EIE / CSE / IT Engineering
OR
Must have passed in AMIE (Sections A and B) under Electrical Engineering Branch.
Assistant Engineer (Civil)
Candidates must have bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
OR
Must have passed in AMIE (Section A and B) under Civil Engineering Branch.
Salary structure
TANGEDCO AE will be paid in the monthly pay scale of Rs 10,100 – 34,800 + Grade pay of Rs 5,100 per month
Age limits
Candidate’s age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years.
There is no maximum age limit for SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/ DC, BCO, BCM and Destitute widows of all castes.
Examination fee
- OC, BCO, BCM, MBC/ DC – Rs 590
- SC, SCA, ST, destitute widow and differently abled persons – Rs 295
Selection process
Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of document verification, written test and interview.

Selection Process:
TANGEDCO AE Recruitment will be made for all the posts after written exam and interview. The written exam will be of 2 hours.
