Junior Engineer (JE) Civil and Electrical (Diploma/ degree) recruitment in SDMC Delhi 2024
South Delhi Municipal Corporation or SDMC has issued recruitment notification for 86 diploma Engineer in Civil and Electrical Trades. They have notified about the advertisement through their add no HC-I/ENGG. (HQ)/SDMC/2015/D-291 dated 13-04-2024. The above said recruitment notification came from the office of the additional deputy (dy.) commissioner ENGG, Head Quarter. They have also mentioned that the Junior Engineers will be recruited on Contractual basis.

Junior Engineer (JE) in following subjects –
1) Civil Engineering,
2) Electrical Engineering.
Vacancy:
For post 1 = 74.
For post 2 = 12.
Important Dates of Recruitment:
Last date of receipt of application form at their office – 10-05-2024.
Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for JE Civil – Degree (B.Tech or B.E) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Eligibility for JE Electrical – Degree (B.tech / BE) or 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
SDMC has also stated about equivalent of professional/ working experience for 2 years.
Salary Structure:
The JEs will be paid on the basic starting scale of initial pay band that is Rs 9,300. They will also be entitled with grade pay of Rs 4,200. In their monthly salary dearness allowance as per the 6th pay commission will also be included.
Age Limit:
Upper Limit = 27 years.
Age relaxation will be given to the reserved category candidates as per the central govt norms.
