Indian Postal Dept Gujarat Circle recruiting Postman/ Mail Guard in Postal/ RMS Division – Indian Post Office Recruitment 2024
Department Of Post Office, Govt of India, recruiting almost 771 candidates in the post of mail guard/ postman in postal department and Railway Mail Service Division in Gujarat Circle.
As per the office of the chief postmaster general, Ahmedabad (Gujarat) recruitment notification advertisement no R&E/2-9/DR/2017-18 dated 12-03-2024, they have stated the postman will be posted at various places.

Details of the post:
Post man / mail guard in Gujarat Circle.
Vacancy:
Postman cadre in postal division – 1220.
Mail guard in RMS – 22.
Important Dates of Recruitment:
Online application form fill up has already started from – 12-03-2024.
Last date for application submission – 11-04-2024.
Educational Qualification Required:
Matriculation or 10th pass certificate is required. Candidates should have possess the matriculation degree from a govt recognized institution.
Salary Structure:
The recruited postman / mail guards will be paid on the pay scale of Rs 5,200 – 20,200. Their grade pay will be Rs 2,000. Other allowances will also be applicable as per the rules of govt.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 18 years.
Upper Limit = 27 years.
Age relaxation will be applicable for the SC/ST candidates.
Exam Fee:
General / OBC Candidates – Rs 500.
SC/ST/PwD Candidates – Rs 100.
Female Candidates also are required to pay only the application fee that is Rs 100.
