OFB has released advertisement notification for the recruitment of trade apprentice in 2024 for 7048 vacancy all over India. State wise ordnance factory board recruitment vacancy for ITI and Non-ITI candidates have been given in the PDF file which can be downloaded from the link given at the last. Following posts will be recruited in Ordnance factory board (OFB) 2024 –
Trade Apprentice –
ITI – 3736 posts,
Non-ITI – 3312 posts.
Vacancy will be reserved for the SC ST OBC Ex-serviceman and PH category also. Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for Trade Apprentice posts –
For non-ITI category – Candidates must have passed Madhyamik or 10th (Class X) for applying in the non-ITI category posts in Ordnance Factory OFB with 40% marks in aggregate with 40% marks in each of science and mathematics.
For ITI category – candidates applying for the ITI posts, must have passed ITI in relevant trades / discipline from NCVT/ SCVT approved ITI institutions. Possessing of qualification / ITI will be calculated as on the last date of application (closing date). Candidates should visit the official notification to know whether the appearing / final year candidates can apply for the post or not.

Last date for submission of online form – 07-02-2024.
Monthly Salary for Trade Apprentice posts in OFB:
Recruited Trade Apprentices will be paid monthly stipend for 3 years as decided by the Trade Apprentice Act, Govt of India.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 14 years,
Upper Limit = 22 years (for ITI candidates age relaxation will be provided as per rules).
Upper age relaxation will be provided to all the reserved category candidates as per the norms of Ordnance Factory Board (OFB). Age will be calculated as per their reference date.
Selection Process:
Recruitment process will include written examination only. Syllabus for the recruitment written test can be downloaded from the PDF file link. Exam center will be in various places.
