NMDC Limited Maintenance Assistant (Trainee) Mech Exam Pattern 2024
Total 100 marks questions will be there to answer. Candidates should be be ITI in Welding/ Machinist/ Motor Mechanic/ Diesel Mechanic/ Auto Electrician. It includes subjects like Subject Knowledge (on specific trade) (30 marks), General Knowledge (50 marks), Numerical and reasoning ability (20 marks). In written NMDC Syllabus exam test SC/ ST candidates must secure 30 marks, OBC candidates 35 marks and UR candidates 40 marks to qualify themselves in the 2nd level step that is Trade Test.

NMDC Maintenance Assistant 2024 Exam Syllabus
Below is the NMDC Maintenance Assistant Syllabus 2024 of examination to be conducted by NMDC for the recruitment of Maintenance Assistant (Trainee) Mech

NMDC ITI post Selection Process 2024
Candidates will be selected on the basis of two stages of exam mentioned below-

Trade Test for Maintenance Assistant & Field Assistant
Performance in written test of the candidates will depend call for 2nd level test that is trade test. The marks of trade test will not be added in the written test marks. If the candidates fail in written test but qualify in trade test then the candidates will be disqualified immediately.
Qualifying marks for different categories in trade test out if 100 marks is given below-
- 40% marks for UR candidates
- 37% marks for OBC candidates
- 30% marks for SC/ ST candidates
Candidates will be called 2nd level test- trade test in the ratio 1:3 which is on the basis of the marks scored in written test. If two or more candidates score equal marks in the written test Syllabus and exceeds the ratio 1:3 then all those candidates will be called for 2nd level test- trade test.
