Jharkhand Home Defence Corps has issued an employment notification no. 01/2024 to fill up the vacant positions of Rural Home Guard (782 posts) & Urban HG (173 posts). The candidates who are interested to apply for any the post must be a resident of the area that they are actually applying for. The application can be sent by normal post / speed post to the office of the District Command or Zilla Samadeshta, Jharkhand Home Defence Corps, Palamu, Pin Code- 822101. The candidates can apply offline from 05.03.2024 to 12.03.2024.

Jharkhand Home Guard Physical Requirement
The aspirants intending to offer their candidature for the post of Urban Home Guard must have done the 10th level or Matriculation examination from any recognised board or Jharkhand Home Guard Vacancy equivalent. For the post of Rural Home Guards, the candidates need to pass till the 7th standard. Apart from this, the candidates have to be a resident of the area from which the candidate wish to apply. Category wise Physical Standard

Physical Standard Test (PST)
The post required physical work. As a result the authority will take the Physical Fitment Test in various steps. Read the posts continuously.
