JEECUP 2018 Application Form Exam Notification Eligibility Criteria How To Apply Exam Dates: The Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education have issued with the online application form for the JEECUP (Polytechnic) Examination or Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination 2018. The online form fillup has started from the 21st of December 2017. It is the state level Polytechnic entrance examination of Uttar Pradesh. Though the form fillup is going on online mode but the examination is to be conducted in offline mode. After getting successfully through the JEECUP 2018 test, the candidates can take admission to the Polytechnic or Management courses of their choice in various reputed institutions and colleges available in Uttar Pradesh, according to their Merit or their score in this test. Through this exam, students can get admission in various engineering, technological, and management courses. So basically it can be referred to merely as a gate pass to for admission to various professional courses. In this article we will provide with the relevant and detailed information regarding the form fillup, date of examination, eligibility, pattern of examination, syllabus and how to get prepared for the JEECUP 2018.

JEECUP 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria is different for various polytechnic courses offered in the institutes and colleges around the state of Uttar Pradesh. Therefore we are giving the detail of the qualification required below:

Engineering & Technology Diploma :

Passing or appearing in Matriculation or 10th grade or equivalent exam from recognised board securing minimum 35% marks.

Agricultural Engineering :

Passing or appearing in Matriculation or 10th grade or equivalent exam with Agriculture / Passing or appearing in Higher Secondary (10+2) with Agriculture as a subject of study obtaining at least 35% marks.

Diploma in Pharmacy :

Passing or appearing in Higher Secondary or 10+2 examination in Science stream. The General or Unreserved Category of candidates must acquire 50% marks and the Reserved category or SC / ST candidates must secure at least 45% marks.

Post Graduate Diploma course:

Passing or appearing in Graduation final examination. The candidates can be from in any discipline.

Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering :

Passing or appearing in Higher Secondary or 10+2 exam securing minimum 50% marks in PCM subjects.

An important notification made on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education in this regard is that if the candidates intending to appear in any of the above mentioned tests expect that the result of minimum qualifying examination is to be declared after 15th June 2018 by the examining board/ university, then those candidates are advised not to apply for the JEECUP 2018 / UPJEE 2018.

JEECUP 2018 (Polytechnic Entrance) Examination Dates:

Important Dates of JEECUP 2018 Polytechnic Entrance Exam in UP has been given below. Joint Entrance Examination Council of UP (Uttar Pradesh) will conduct the examination which has declared the exam dates and other important dates regarding JEECUP 2018 –

Starting date of Online application : 21st December 2017

Closing date of Online application : 2nd week of February 2018

Issuing of Admit card                     : 2nd week of April 2018

Date of commencement of Exam  : 22nd April 2018 (9 AM to 12:00 Noon for Engineering & Technological courses & 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM for other courses)

Date of publication of Result          : 3rd week of May 2018

Starting of Counselling                   : May or June 2018

How to apply for JEECUP 2018:

The candidates are required to fill up the online application form carefully and it can be obtained from the official website of UPJEE. The candidates ought to fill the application form carefully, as no correction will be allowed after the submission of the form. The candidates will need to provide scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression and other details while filling up the online form. On furnishing of all the necessary details like personal details and educational qualification etc, a page with application number will be generated. After taking a print out of the page the payment of application fee can be made either by net banking/ credit/ debit card or depositing fee in cash in the any of the branches of State Bank of India through e-challan. Aadhaar Card is necessary to fill the application form.

Application Fee of JEECUP 2018:

The application fee for UPJEE / JEECUP 2018 is different for Reserved and Unreserved Category of candidates. For the General and OBC candidates the application fee is 300/- per form with addition to the Bank charges but for the SC and ST candidates the application fee is Rs. 200/- per form with an addition to Bank charges. The payment of fees can be done through online or offline mode.

Structure of UPJEE / JEECUP 2018:

The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination or JEECUP will be conducted through offline mode that is through written mode and it will bear objective type of questions and the language of the question will be both Hindi and English. This exam will be conducted in two sessions, i.e. 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. 4 marks will be given for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Multiple answer for same question will also result in the deduction of the marks.

JEECUP Polytechnic Syllabus UPJEE 2018:

The questions of JEECUP / UPJEE will be of 10th or 12th standard. So the students ought to prepare themselves according to the syllabus of these classes. In case of the Engineering & Technological diploma courses the questions will be asked from the science based subjects like Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and for the Pharmacy course there will be questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics.

JEECUP 2018 Preparation:

Alike any other entrance examination this examination too is to be considered seriously and thus diligence is required to get success. At first the candidates must possess a clear cut idea about the syllabus and they ought to start preparing as per the subjects of the syllabus. Practice from previous year question papers and sample papers is essential to know more about the exam pattern and for better time management.

JEECUP 2018 Admit Card:

The admit card of JEECUP 2018 will be issued by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education from the 2nd week of April 2018. It will provide with the details like the venue and time and date of the examination. The candidates ought to download it and take a print out of the same. It is compulsory for the candidates to bring the admit card at the examination centre on the day of the test since no candidate will be permitted to sit in the examination without having the admit card.

JEECUP Polytechnic 2018 Result:

The result of JEECUP Polytechnic 2018 is announced to be published on the 3rd week of May 2018. After the publication of the result the candidates will be able to check the result through the website of UPJEE. Candidates have to enter their roll number to check the result. The students have to take a printout of the result for the admission process.

JEECUP (Polytechnic) Counselling 2018:

Only the students getting successfully through the JEECUP 2018 can appear for the counselling in the month of May or June in 2018. This process will be organized through online mode to fill the seats of the institutes and colleges under Uttar Pradesh. The Candidates must bring the original documents and photocopies of 10th standard marksheet and passing certificate, 12th standard  marksheet and passing certificate,Character Certificate, Transfer certificate and passport size photographs for document verification process on the same day of Counselling.
