Required educational qualification for the post:
Candidates should have passed Matriculation or equivalent, and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics and Telecommunication(Radio/ Power) Engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). 60% marks in aggregate is required to apply for the post. 55% marks is required for SC/ST candidates and outstanding sports person of National Level who stood 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in any field sports events Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023 at the Open National Championship/ Interstate National Championship. The relaxation of marks is also applicable to the wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased in service. Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for assistant commandant post –
For General Duty, General Duty (pilot) and General Duty (Women) in Short Service appointments (SSC) – Candidates must have done Graduation in any stream with 60% marks. They should have studied Physics & Mathematics in their 10+2 or 12th Level and in that exam they should have obtained 60% marks aggregate on the above mentioned subjects also.
For Pilot (CPL) – Candidates must have done 12th with 60% marks and should also possess valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued by DGCA.
For Technical Branch (Mechanical & Electrical) – Engineering degree (B.tech / B.E) in Mechanical or Electronics or Similar Stream with 60% marks and 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics in their 10+2 or in 3 years diploma.
Candidates should also possess good health and prescribed physical standards / measurements to apply for the mentioned posts.

Salary Structure:
