Medical Officer Vacancy Grade II – Gujarat PSC (GPSC) 2024
Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has announced a golden opportunity for GPSC Medical Officer Recruitment of candidates in various posts in the Gujarat State Govt in 2024. Medical officers and administrative officers will be recruited where 1542 vacancy will be filled up by suitable candidates. Candidates having Bachelor Degree in Medicine/ Surgery can apply for the post online. Please study the detailed information which has been extracted from the official notification advertisement. 1) Medical Officer Class II – 1541 posts,
2) Administrative Officer Class II – 1 post.
Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for Medical Officer – Candidates must have obtained Graduation Degree in Bachelor of medicine or surgery from a recognized institution.

Salary Structure:
Staffs recruited in both the posts will be paid in the same pay scale of Rs 9,300 – 34,800. But their grade pay will be different according to their posts and they are –
Rs 5,400 for Post 1 and
Rs 4,600 for Post 2.
Age Limit:
Upper Limit = 35 years for Medical Officers grade II and 40 years for administrative officers. 5 years age relaxation will be provided for SC ST candidates. Age restriction will be calculated on 16th May 2024.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern:
Those who have submitted their application form and paid the required exam fee will be given admit card for written exam. If they clear the written test by securing the cut off marks, they will be called for interview which will be conducted by GPSC. The dates of the exam will be notified later.
Exam Fee:
General Candidates – Rs 100,
SC ST and other reserved category candidates need not to pay any application fee.
