Constable Sub Inspector Vacancy in Goa Police – Physical criteria Exam pattern
Goa Police Department will recruit Police Constable and Sub-Inspector for the year 2024. There are total 190 vacancy for the constable, SI, LDC and other various posts in Goa Police. Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for Goa Police Sub Inspector – Candidates must have done graduation in any stream.
For constable post – Secondary school certificate or 12th pass is the minimum eligibility criteria for applying to the post.
Knowledge of Konkani / Maharashtra is not mandatory but desirable.
Physical standards required:
For all the posts there are some minimum physical height, weight & chest requirements for male and female candidates which all them should possess. The physical or medical test / measurement will be conducted for checking the possession of the said physical criteria for Goa Police SI and constable.

Salary Structure:
Recruited Sub-Inspector or SI in Goa Police Department will be paid in the pay scale of Rs 9,300 – 34,800 with grade pay of Rs 4,200.
Other staffs like constable and others in Goa Police dept will be paid in the pay scale of 5,200 – 20,200 with grade pay of Rs 1,800 / 1,900 or other as decided by the Goa Govt.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 20 years for SI and 18 years for constable.
Upper Limit = 28 years for SI, 22 years for constable and 45 years for other posts.
Relaxation in Upper age limit will be provided to all the reserved category candidates including ex-serviceman. Calculation of age limit will be done from 08-08-2016.
Selection Process / exam pattern:
