CGPSC Forest Service Exam Syllabus 2024 Exam Pattern Download PDF Selection Process: Almost every year CGPSC or Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission conducts combined forest service exam. We have given here the method of recruitment or selection process for the recruitment of candidates through this competitive exam. Through this exam Chhattisgarh PSC generally publishes vacancy for assistant forest conservator (sahayak van sanrakshak) and Van Kshetrapal across the state.

CGPSC Forest Service Exam Pattern:

• Written Exam – 600 marks.
• Interview – 75 marks.

Written Exam pattern – The first step for the selection process is written exam. There will be two papers is the written test and they are Paper I and Paper II. Each of the paper will consist of 150 questions. One question will carry 2 marks. Objective type questions or MCQs will be asked. The duration of both the tests is 2.30 hours. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer. One mark will be deducted for one wrongly marked answer.

Interview – Those candidates who will clear the cut off marks will be called for interview. They have mentioned that there will be no qualifying marks for the interview.

Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written exam and interview both.

Paper I (General Knowledge) Syllabus:

1^st Part –

• History of Chhattisgarh and relation of the state with Freedom Movement.
• Geography of Chhattisgarh.
• Art and Culture of CG.
• Tribes, festivals etc of CG.
• Economy, forest and agriculture of Chhattisgarh.
• Administration, local govt and panchayati raj structure of CG.
• Production of minerals, energy, industries in CG.
• Current affairs related to Chhattisgarh.

2^nd Part –

Language part – (i) Hindi, (ii) English & (iii) Chhattisgadi. Grammer, antonym, synonym, idioms etc will come from 3 languages.

3^rd Part –

Question will be there from different subjects like reasoning ability, aptitude, mental ability, quantitative aptitudes, math question, chart etc.

There will be questions from –

1) Chemistry,

2) Physics,

3) Biology,

4) Technology,
