The candidates having passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination in 2024 from WBCHSE / ISC / CBSE or any other board / council will be eligible to offer their Dinhata College Merit List candidature for the General course in any discipline. But for the application to the honours course, the candidates need to fulfill the following conditions  –

• The general category candidates must possess 50% / 55% in aggregate and 60% in opted subject for honours.
• For the reserved category (SC and ST) candidates, attaining 45% marks in aggregate and 60% in related subject will be regarded to be mandatory to apply.
