Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for Head Constable Post – Candidates must have minimum qualification of 10+2 pass that is 12th pass certificate. It has been strictly mentioned that the diploma candidates who have done their diploma in engineering or others after 10th class, will not be permitted to apply for the post.
Salary Structure:
Recruited CRPF head constables will be paid in the pay scale of Rs 5,200 – 20,200 with grade pay of Rs 2,400. Other allowances will also be included in their monthly salary as per the rules of CRPF.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 18 years,
Upper Limit = 25 years.
Age relaxation will be applicable for the SC ST OBC and other category.
Selection Process/ Exam date:
Candidates will have to go different steps for being qualified for the post –

  1. Written Test – It will consist of one paper consisting of 225 marks.
  2. Physical Standards Test (PST) – In this step candidates physical measurements will be taken to justice that if they possess that required standards as mentioned by them.
  3. Skill Test – Here the candidates’ computer typing speed will be tested. They have to type 35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi.
  4. Medical Test.

CRPF has stated the written examination may be held on 26th June.
