The candidates to be accepted must meet the qualifying criteria that the college authority proposes. If a applicant does not follow these criteria, they are not accepted. The applicants must complete the HS exam or its equivalent exam from a recognised board. The qualification is based on the mark or BC College Asansol 1st Merit List equal obtained during the HS test. Applicants who completed a vocational 10 + 2 exam by the West Bengal State Council for Vocational Education & Training are also accepted.
