Constable (Driver) in Civil Police/ IRBN Vacancy in Arunachal Pradesh Police 2024
Arunachal Pradesh police has released vacancy for Constable (driver) post in Civil Police and IRBN with their advertisement no PHQ/PER-98/14 dated 21-04-2024. The recruited constable will be posted in various districts like Tirap, Longding, Changlang. The notification has been published by Itanagar Police Head Quarter (HQ). Civil Police – 5 posts,
IRBN – 103 posts.

Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for Constable (Driver) – Candidate must have passed VIII / 8th standard (for APST) or 10th / X standard for general category.
They should also possess valid driving license for LMV/HMV/MMV and should also hold certificate of driving experience for at least 3 years.
Physical Standards Required:
Prescribed measurements of height, chest (for male) is also required to have for applicants.
Salary Structure:
Basic pay scale of Constable (drivers) will be Rs 5,200 – 20,200 with grade pay of Rs 2,000.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 18 years,
Upper Limit = 28 years.
Age relaxation will be provided for APST.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern:
Candidates will be selected through several steps which are given below –
1) Physical Standards Test – Candidates will be checked if they possess the prescribed physical measurements.
2) Physical Eligibility Test – Those who will be successful clearing the PST, will have to appear for endurance test where they have to qualify some games.
3) Written Test & Trade Test – The written test will consist of 300 marks including the Trade Test which will be 100 marks exam. The written exam will be objective in nature.
4) Interview – This is the last step in this whole Arunachal Police Recruitment process.
Final merit list will be prepared on the consolidated marks of written & trade test and interview.
Exam Fee:
General Candidates have to make treasury challan of Rs 40 whereas for APST candidates it is Rs 10.
