Following posts will be recruited in WBSSC Stenographer –
Stenographer Schedule A – 32 posts (Finance),
Stenographer Schedule B – 10 posts (consumer affairs).

Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for Stenographer posts – Candidates must have passed Madhyamik or class X (10th). Please check the detailed eligibility criteria on the official notification. Computer Literacy is mandatory for the post.

Monthly Salary of Stenographer in WBSSC:
Recruited Enrolled Followers will be given monthly salary on the pay band consisting of Basic Pay of Rs. 7,100 – 37,600 and Grade Pay of Rs 3,600. Other allowances will be included in their monthly salary. Salary of both the Schedule A and B will be same.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 18 years,
Upper Limit = 32 years.
Upper age relaxation will be provided to all the reserved category candidates including ex-serviceman as per the norms of WB SSC. Age will be calculated as on 1-1-2024.
