LDC Lower Division Clerk 2024 WB SSC recruitment – Exam pattern, syllabus
West Bengal (WB) Staff Selection Commission (SSC) or simply WBSSC has earlier notified about the recruitment of LDC or Lower Division Clerk or LDA (assistants) in various govt offices in the state. A total of 1133 vacancy is to be filled this year for which the written exam is going to be held on 05-06-2024. Earlier we have posted about 1133 vacancy for LDC in WBSSC notification and detailed information on that advertisement. Here we will be taking you through the exam patter or syllabus & scheme for the written exam of LDC by WBSSC 2024. The exam is coded under LDA 18.
If we study the information on WBSSC’s official notification then we come across the following points on exam pattern –
Written Exam – 200 marks (consisting of part I and part II).
Will there be any interview in LDC exam –
As per the official add, the commission has stated that the final merit list will be prepared on the basis of written examination. So, it is clear that there should not be any personal interview in this exam. But if WBSSC decides to conduct interview then it will be subsequently notified to the candidates.
Written Exam Pattern –
The written exam will be held in 2 sections namely – Part I and Part II. Brief discussion on exam date, duration and type of questions about both the parts are given below –
- Part I – which will consist of 100 marks question. Questions will be objective type that is Multiple Choice (MCQ) and hence the exam is most likely to be conducted on OMR sheet. There will be questions from General English, arithmetic and General Studies. Duration of the test will be 90 minutes.
- Part II – It will be of 100 marks exam and will comprise of descriptive or conventional type question. 1 hour will be the duration of the exam. There will be 2 groups as follows –
Group A – English (50 marks).
Group B – Bengali/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali (50 marks).
