Result of West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) deputy ranger forest officer exam: WBSSC earlier invited application for recruitment of Deputy Ranger (Grade C). The advertisement was published in the official website of WB SSC. Around 131 Dy. Rangers seat will be filled up through this recruitment. On 25th February 2024 the admit card or hall ticket for the written exam was made available to the candidates.
Based on the syllabus as stated by the WBSSC board, the written exam was taken. The candidates who were aged between 20 to 32 years could apply for the exam. Age relaxation were applicable for the SC/ST candidates. Last date of the application form fill up was 04-12-2024.

The written exam was held on 6th March 2024. The successful candidates will now go through the next process of recruitment. There will be separate test of physical endurance. This test will judge if the candidates have the required criteria prescribed by WBSSC. The successful candidates will have to appear for personality test. After qualifying the test they will be given joining letter.
