Audit & accounts service Recruitment Examination 2024 (a&as) WBPSC
West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has notified about the audit & accounts service exam on their official website. The recruitment advertisement notification is 10/2024 which has been WBPSC audit & accounts service published on pscwb.org.in. Preliminary, Main and Interview will be held in various places across West Bengal. Candidates who are willing to apply for the exam, may read the details regarding the exam as given below –

Vacancy:
Total 120 vacant seats are there. Category wise vacancy break up list is given below –
General – 66 posts,
SC – 26 posts,
ST – 7 posts,
OBC – 9 posts,
Physically Handicapped – 2 posts.

Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for audit & accounts service officer – Candidates must have passed Graduation degree in Commerce or they should be a member of Chartered accountants (c. a) of India or similar.
Salary Structure:
Basic pay scale of the audit and accounts service officers will be Rs 15,600 – 42,000 with grade pay of Rs 5,400. Other allowances will be included in their monthly salary.
Age Limit:
Upper Limit = 32 years.
5 years age relaxation will be provided for SC ST and 3 years for OBC. Age limit for PH candidates is 45 years.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern:
Those whose application form submission and fee payment have been completed successfully, will be given admit card for preliminary exam. If they clear the cut off marks for the exam, will have to appear for main exam. This mains test will be conducted in Kolkata only. Personality test will take place after the mains exam.
Exam Fee:
General Candidates – 210 Rs + Service charges.
SC ST and other reserved category candidates are not required to pay any exam fee.
