This year admission to the GNM & ANM (R) courses will be done through Entrance Exam. The Entrance Exam will be conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. The WBJEE GNM ANM Syllabus for the entrance exam will consist of following subjects:

Special Instructions:
Category 1:
- Only one option will be correct.
- Correct option will yield 1 (one) mark
- Incorrect option will yield negative ¼ marks.
- For any combination of more than one option, even if it contains the correct option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield negative ¼ marks.
- Not attempting the question will fetch 0 marks.
Category 2:
- One or More options is / are correct.
- 2 Marks will be awarded for Correct Answer.
- For any combination of answers containing one or more options, the said answer will be treated as incorrect, and it will yield me marked as 0 even if one or more answers is / are correct.
- If all correct options are not marked and no incorrect answer is marked, then marks awarded will be = 2 x (no of correct options) / (Total No of actual correct options)

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Board জিএনএম এন্ট্রান্স এক্সাম এর সিলেবাস আপনার বাংলায় ডাউনলোড করতে পারবেন. সিলেবাস টি দেওয়ার আগে আমরা আপনাদেরকে সিলেবাস সম্বন্ধে কিছু তথ্য জানাচ্ছি. এই পরীক্ষাটি ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল জয়েন্ট Entrance এক্সামিনেশন বোর্ড নেবে. সর্বমোট 100 টি প্রশ্ন থাকবে. নবম-দশম শ্রেণীর জীবনবিজ্ঞান, ভৌতবিজ্ঞান ও পাটিগণিত এবং লজিক্যাল রিজনিং, ইংরেজি ব্যাকরণ ও সাধারণ জ্ঞান থেকে প্রশ্ন আসবে.

- মোট 85 টি প্রশ্ন থাকবে.
- সকল প্রশ্ন মাল্টিপল চয়েস প্রশ্ন হবে.
- প্রত্যেক প্রশ্নের চারটি সম্ভাব্য উত্তর থাকবে.
- পরীক্ষার জন্য সময় 1 ঘন্টা 30 মিনিট.
- প্রশ্ন ইংরেজি এবং বাংলা ভাষায় হবে. শুধুমাত্র ইংরেজি ব্যাকরণ এবং লজিক্যাল রিজনিং প্রশ্ন গুলি ইংরেজিতে হবে.

To download the GNM Nursing Exam syllabus for Entrance Test 2023, follow the steps –

| Step 2 | After that, on the menu section find your “Instructions & Brochure” link. |
| Step 3 | Now, click on the link and a PDF file will be downloaded. |
| Step 4 | Open the PDF file and move to the Syllabus section of the entrance exam. |
| Step 5 | Now, in Bengali & English both the language, you will see your WBJEE Nursing Entrance Syllabus. |

Yes. 0.25 negative marks will be awarded to candidates for each wrong answer.
For Life Science, Physical Science, General Knowledge & Mathematics section, the question paper will be in English & Bengali language. For english grammar & logical reasoning section, the question paper will be in English language only.
The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions having 4 options.
The question paper will be of 1 Hour 30 Minutes.
