Driver Vacancy in UTC – Uttarakhand Govt Jobs
Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) has released recruitment notification for the recruitment of Driver posts in the state. Recruited drivers will be posted in Nainital, Dehradur and Tanakpur regions. Vacancy:
Total vacancy for the driver posts is 300. Vacancy will be reserved for the SC ST OBC and other reserved category candidates also. Region / district wise vacancy break up list can be found on Hindi notification of UTC driver post.
Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for Driver posts – Candidates must have passed class VIII (8th standard). They should also have valid driving license for 5 years.

Salary Structure:
Recruited Drivers pay scale will be 5,200 – 20,200 with grade pay of Rs 1,900. Total monthly salary including all the allowances will be approximately Rs 18,000.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern:
Drivers will be recruited on the basis of driving skill test / trade test. Most probably there will be no written test / interview.
Age Limit:
Lower limit = 18 years.
Upper age limit = 42 years.
SC ST OBC PH Ex-serviceman candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit.
