UPSC Civil Service Exam Syllabus 2024 Download IAS (Indian Administrative Service) Exam Pattern Preliminary Paper 1 2 Exam Mains Test: Preliminary & Mains Exam syllabus of Union Public Service Commission Civil Service Exam or often called Indian Administrative Service (IAS) have been given in detail along with UPSC IAS Syllabus Examination pattern of Preliminary Test and Mains Exam. UPSC has invited online application from eligible candidates through Examination Notice No. 04/ 2024 – CSP dated 07.02.23 for Civil Service Examination. Eligible candidates can apply online through the website www.upsc.gov.in till 06.03.24. Candidates should appear in both the papers of the Preliminary Examination. The mode of exam is English and Hindi. Candidates should not bring any valuable items or any electronic gadgets in the examination hall. UPSC Civil Service Examination Pattern 2024
- Examination will be in two stages- Preliminary examination and Main examination.
- Preliminary Examination consists of two papers comprising 200 marks each and Main Examination consists of 9 papers comprising 300 marks each.
- Questions of Preliminary Examination will be of objective type whereas Main Examination will be of essay type.
- Time duration for Preliminary examination is 2 hours and Main Examination is 3 hours for each exams respectively.
- There will be negative marking for each wrong answers.
- 0.33 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answers.
