Following posts will be recruited in UPRVUNL –
Junior Engineer (Trainee) E & M cadre – 44.
Junior Engineer (Trainee) Civil cadre – 08.
Technician Grade II – 21 posts.
Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for junior engineer trainee in UPRVUNL – candidates must possess diploma in Civil/ Electrical /Mechanical /Telecommunication /Instrumentation /Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Industrial/ Industrial & Production Engineering for the post of JE. Final year students can also apply for the posts.

Salary Structure:
The Junior Engineer or JE trainee will be paid in the pay scale of Rs 9,300 – 34,800 with grade pay of Rs 4,200. The technician will be paid on the pay scale of Rs 5,200 – 20,200 with grade pay of Rs 2,600. Besides this, the recruited engineers will be entitled to hra, da and other allowances time to time which will included in their monthly salary.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 18 Years.
Upper Limit = 40 years.
Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per the govt norms. But SC ST OBC PH candidates of other state (except UP) will be treated as General Category candidates.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern:
Written exam will be conducted in the first phase of selection. This will be a computer based test or CBT. Later the successful candidates have to go through interview. Syllabus of the written test can be found on the official website.
Exam Fee:
General Category and other states candidates – Rs 700 for JE, Rs 500 for Technician.
SC ST Candidates – Rs 500 for JE, Rs 400 for Technician.
Physically Handicapped Candidates are exempted to pay any fee.
