Junior Engineer (JE Electrical) & Junior assistant (JA) Vacancy in UGVCL
Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited (UGVCL) will recruit Vidyut Sahayak (VS) as Junior Engineer (JE) and Junior assistant (JA) in 2024. Total vacancy of 111 posts for both JE Electrical & JA will be filled up by eligible candidates. B.Tech or any graduate candidate may apply for the posts in UGVCL Recruitment. Following are the posts in which staffs will be recruited and their respective vacancy is given alongside –
Junior Engineer (JE Electrical) – Vidyut Sahayak (VS) – 23 posts,
Junior assistant (JA) – Vidyut Sahayak (VS) – 88 posts.

Minimum Qualification Required:
Post wise eligibility criteria for UGVCL is given below –
Eligibility for Junior Engineer (Vidyut Sahayak) JE Electrical – B.Tech / B.E in Electrical Engineering or similar with 60% marks from a recognized institution. For SC ST candidates the minimum marks required is 55%. Widow candidates will get 5% marks relaxation. CGPA marks will be converted to percentage scale as per the rules.
For Junior assistant (JA) (Vidyut Sahayak) – Candidates must have done graduation in any stream or subject like BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BCA with 60% marks. Marks relaxation will be applicable for the reserved category candidates as per the UGVCL rules.

Salary Structure:
Recruited JE Electrical will be given fixed remuneration of Rs 19,750 for 1st year and 2nd year Rs 21,750 per month. After completion of the 2 years training the recruited staffs will be inducted to monthly basic pay scale system which is Rs 17,300 – 38,610 with other allowances.
For VS Junior assistant – in first three years they will be given fixed stipend monthly, but after they are made permanent staffs of UGVCL they will be paid in the pays scale of Rs 9,700 – 21,710.
Age Limit:
Upper Limit = 35 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit will provided for the reserved category candidates.
Exam Fee:
General Category – Rs 500,
SC ST OBC – Rs 250,
Ex-serviceman – Nil.
