TPSC Recruitment 2024 TCS TPS Grade II – Tripura Civil Service and Police Service
Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC), through their advertisement notification no 04/2024 has said about the recruitment of TCS and TPS. Preliminary and Mains exam will be carried out for the recruitment of the posts. The recruited T.C.S and T.P.S will be posted as Group A gazetted officer in the state of Tripura. The Tripura Civil Service and Tripura Police Service (Grade II) staffs both will be recruited in this combined competitive exam 2024 conducted by Tripura PSC.

Vacancy:
Tripura Civil Service – 30 posts,
Tripura Police Service – 15 posts.
Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for TPS and TCS – The candidates must have passed graduation degree in any subject. If he or she is having knowledge of Bengali/ English or Kokborok Language , then preference will be given to him or her.

Salary Structure:
The recruited civil service and police service officers in TPSC will be paid in the pay scale of Rs 15,600 – 39,100 with grade pay of Rs 5,400 and including other allowances. This is pay band IV or PB4 as per T.P.S.C.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 21 Years.
Upper Limit = 40 years.
SC ST OBC physically handicapped candidates will be given upper age relaxation.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern:
3 steps are there for the recruitment of the above mentioned posts which are –
1) Preliminary Exam- will consist of 200 mark and will be Objective (MCQ) type questions, 2) Written Exam (800 marks) – it will be conventional / descriptive in nature and 3) Interview or Viva.
Personality Test will be the last step which will be of 100 marks. Preliminary Exam will be held in 3 centers in Tripura. Detailed scheme and syllabus has been given on their official website.
Exam Fee:
General Candidates – Rs 200,
SC ST BPL PH Candidates – Rs 150.
How to Apply / process of application:
Those who are willing to apply for the posts in TPSC can get the application form at Tripura Gramin Bank and payment can be made by special deposit slip available at the respective bank branch or extension counter. Otherwise application form may be downloaded and printed in colour from the official website www.tpsc.gov.in. Fill it up duly, attach photograph and submit it to the reception office of TPSC Secretariat by post or by hand. In this case candidates have to pay the fee in the specified account number of TPSC given in their notification.
