Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Sub Inspector (SI) Head Constable (Communication) vacancy Notification 2024
Sub Inspector (SI), Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) and Head Constable (HC) recruited in Communication set up of SSB in all over India. The vacancy for the SI ASI Constable (Communication) has been declared as 872. Diploma & degree engineers in Electronics/ Telecommunication will be able to apply for the posts of Sub Inspector (SI) and Assistant SI. Those who have done ITI after 10th or have passed 10+2 with science subjects (physics, chemistry and math) will be able to apply for Head Constable (Communication) posts in SSB. The eligibility criteria, age limit and relaxation, monthly salary and other important information has been given below. Following posts will be recruited in SSB in 2024 –
Sub-Inspector SI (Communication) – 16 Post,
Assistant Sub Inspector ASI (Communication) – 110 Post,
Head Constable HC – 746 Posts

Educational Qualification Required:
Diploma / Degree in Electronics / Telecommunication (ECE) & Others for ASI & SI posts respectively. For Constable posts ITI or 10+2 with science.

Monthly Salary for SSB Constable SI ASI (Communication):
Recruited Sub Inspector, Constable will be paid monthly salary of Rs 35,400 (SI), 29,200 (ASI) and Rs 25,500 (head constable). Detailed pay scale / pay band may be found on the official website. Other allowances may be provided in their monthly salary.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 18 years,
Upper Limit = 25 / 23 years (depending on the post you are applying for).
Upper age relaxation will be provided to all the reserved category candidates including ex-serviceman as per the norms of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) communication posts. Age will be calculated as per their reference date.
