Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan or SSA Assam has released recruitment advertisement notification for the posts of assistant teacher in primary and upper primary level 2024. Details of the post and vacancy:
Following assistant teacher posts will be recruited in SSA Assam –
Lower Primary level (LP): 3672 Posts,
Upper Primary- Social Science UP (SS): 157 Posts,
Upper Primary- Maths & Science UP (M &S): 85 Posts.

Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for SSA Teacher – Candidates should possess Higher Secondary or 12th with LP-TET/ CTET & 2-year D.Ed with least 50% marks for Post Lower primary teacher. Graduation from UGC recognized University with LP-TET/ CTET & 2-year D.El.Ed for Upper Primary teacher & B.Sc from UGC recognized University with UP-TET/ CTET & 2-year D.Ed for Upper primary maths teacher in SSA assistant teacher Assam posts.

Monthly Salary for SSA teacher primary & upper primary:
Recruited Teacher in Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in Assam will be paid in the monthly salary scale as per the pay bank decided by the SSA. Other allowances may be paid, (this post of teacher is temporary in nature.

Upper age relaxation will be provided to all the reserved category candidates including ex-serviceman as per the norms of SSA authority. Age will be calculated as per their reference date.
